Care instructions
- Cleaning and maintenance:
- This appliance is for household use only and is not user-serviceable

- Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet before cleaning
- Don't immerse the appliance in water or hold it under a running tap
- To remove stubborn spots, wipe surfaces with a cloth dampened in soapy water or mild non-abrasive cleaner, then dry with a clean cloth
- Unplug the base, let the kettle cool before cleaning, and wipe both the kettle and base with a damp cloth
- Use household detergent inside the kettle, but rinse thoroughly to avoid tainting the water
- Keep connectors and sockets dry, and never immerse the kettle or base in liquid
- Avoid using harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents
- Descaling:
- Descale the kettle regularly, even in soft water areas, to prevent limescale build-up
- Use a descaler suitable for plastic products, following the instructions on the packaging
- If no commercial descaler is available, use white vinegar, bringing it to a boil and repeating as needed to remove calcium build-up
- After descaling, rinse the kettle several times with clean water
- Descale monthly, or more often if the kettle becomes noisier
- Water filter cleaning:
- The filter is located inside the kettle behind the spout
- With the lid open, gently pull the filter out and rinse it in warm water
- Use a soft brush to remove any scale
- To replace the filter, slide it back into its slot until it clicks into place
